Is It Worth It To Buy The Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Elliptical?
For some folks, this entry-level elliptical is a terrific option, but I wouldn't say it's the ideal option for everyone. Check out who I think should buy it and who might be better off with an other elliptical cross trainer.
Excellent for:
Beginners looking for a simple elliptical
Those on a tight budget
Those looking for a stable elliptical that won't tremble while in use.
Those who want their elliptical to have heart rate pulse sensors
Not recommended for:
Someone who prefers an alternative cardio machine for their home gym, such as a treadmill or exercise bike
Because of the short stride length, people who are taller can benefit.
Portability and Sturdiness
The general stability of the machine isn't always the best with many of the budget ellipticals I've tried. They can be wobbly and poorly constructed at times. The Sunny Health & Fitness elliptical does not make me feel this way. I didn't experience any shaking whether traveling ahead, backward or increasing resistance. The weight capacity is 330 pounds, which is quite impressive, especially for a low-cost machine.
This magnetic elliptical trainer has a footprint of 55" L x 23" W x 64.5" H, which isn't precisely little, but it is less in height and length than the ordinary machine. It'd look great in a room with a lower ceiling. Because of the reduced length, the stride is shorter as well.For tall persons, 15.5 inches isn't suitable. The short stride length I just described is one of my least favorite features of the Sunny Health & Fitness Magnetic Elliptical. The stride range on a regular elliptical is 18-20 inches, but this machine only goes up to 15.5 inches. For a taller person with naturally longer strides, I don't believe this is the best option.
The foot pedals themselves are large, but they aren't padded, which would make for a more comfortable workout. The padded grips on the moving handlebars are nice, but they make my hands sweat more. There appears to be an issue with me. Advantages of Technology.
This elliptical, like the Horizon 7.0 AE, does not feature interactive programming like the NordicTrack ellipticals, but it does offer 24 built-in programs. In terms of general resistance and interval periods, these are all different. I enjoy that there are several ways to vary your training.
The screen is a simple LCD display. It does, however, track a number of stats, which I appreciate. What you can expect to observe is as follows:

This elliptical contains all of the standard features, including a water bottle holder, a media shelf, and both static and moving handlebars.
The hand pulse monitoring mechanism on the static handlebars is a pleasant bonus. I like being able to rapidly check my pulse while exercising.

There is no live chat customer service option on the Sunny website like there is with Rogue. Support@sunnyhealthfitness.com is the email address they provide. However, it took them almost a week to react when I contacted them with a question, so don't expect anything to happen immediately.
Warranty
This machine's warranty is a let-down. A conventional elliptical's frame should last 15 years, the parts two years, and the labor one year, according to industry standards. The frame of the Sunny Health & Fitness elliptical is covered by a 3-year warranty, with parts and other components covered by a 180-day warranty. .You can get free shipping on your elliptical trainer if you get it from Amazon. I appreciate that Amazon allows you to pay for assembly, but the Sunny Health and Fitness website does not. After putting it together myself, I would have paid more to have someone else do it. I'll get to that later.
